
- Purpose
The purpose of this invitation to tender is the renewal of files of companies within the framework of supplies and services in SONARA, of an amount less than or equal to 25. 000. 000 CFAF for the 2020 – 2021 fiscal year.
- Presentation of SONARA:
The National Refining Company Ltd (SONARA) was created by presidential decree n°73/135 of 24 March 1973, incorporated on 07 December 1976 with an establishment convention put in place by the government of Cameroon on 11 January 1978. The company was inaugurated in 16 March 1981.
It is a Limited liability company with a Board of Directors governed by the provisions of the OHADA Uniform Act relating to commercial companies and Economic Interest Groupings, and by law n° 2017/011 of 12 July 2017 on general statutes of public institutions of the public and Para public sector.
The capital of SONARA stands at 19.560 062 CFA F with a majority of the shares owned by the state of Cameroon.
The main goal of SONARA is to operate a crude oil refinery to primarily satisfy the needs of the Cameroonian market in refined petroleum products such as: butane, super, gas oil, distillate, fuel oil, kerosene and jet fuel. The present treatment capacity stands at 2.100.000 tons per year.
SONARA has the ISO 9001v2015 certification and has attained level 8 of the International Safety Rating System (ISRS).
- Objective :
SONARA launches an invitation to tender to Cameroonian-based companies in good standing with the tax administrations, with a view to restricted consultations and / or quotation requests for the supply of Goods and Services less than or equal to 25.000.000 CFA F, all taxes inclusive, in the following types of services to be carried out in SONARA for the 2020 and 2021 fiscal years:

NOTA: Candidate companies are required to submit a file for a single domain of activity and to specify their preferred activity.

They must be submitted upon acknowledgement receipt at the purchase and Sub-contracting service of SONARA) latest on 30 April 2020.

- Publication of results
Results of this invitation to tender will be made known in the month of June 2020.
- Withdrawal of unsuccessful bids
Bidders whose bids shall not be retained will be invited to the Purchase and sub-contracting service within a deadline of 15 (fifteen) days after the publication of the list of accredited SONARA suppliers, to withdraw their bids.
After this deadline, bids which shall not be withdrawn shall be destroyed and can no longer be claimed by the issuers.
