For Tenders related to final disposal of hazardous industrial waste from SONARA
July 29, 2026Following the second surveillance audit of its Quality Management System (QMS), conducted from July 6 to 8, 2026, by Bureau Veritas, SONARA has reached another milestone in its continuous improvement journey, achieving results that confirm the robustness of its quality management framework.
Conducted as part of the ongoing surveillance of its ISO 9001:2015 certification, the audit assessed the effectiveness of the QMS and its compliance with the requirements of the international standard. At the conclusion of the audit, five minor nonconformities were identified.
According to Mrs. Viviane AZAMBOU, Lead Auditor, these findings do not call into question the conformity of SONARA’s Quality Management System. In light of the audit results, the maintenance of the ISO 9001:2015 certification has been recommended, subject to the implementation of the required corrective actions and the submission of objective evidence demonstrating their completion within 90 days.
This recommendation reflects the maturity of SONARA’s Quality Management System and the sustained commitment of all its teams to fostering a culture of quality, performance, and continuous improvement.
Remaining true to its pursuit of excellence, SONARA is committed to turning these improvement opportunities into drivers of progress, further strengthening its management system, enhancing stakeholder satisfaction, and continuing its mission in support of the development of the national petroleum industry.
