April 29, 2026From July 6 to 8, 2026, SONARA is hosting experts from Bureau Veritas as part of the second surveillance audit of its ISO 9001:2015 certification.
Far more than a routine compliance exercise, this mission represents a strategic milestone aimed at assessing the performance, maturity, and continuous improvement of the Integrated Management System implemented across the company.
At the heart of this evaluation lies a key question: Has SONARA’s Integrated Management System improved since the previous surveillance audit? Have the efforts undertaken to strengthen organizational performance and enhance process quality delivered the expected results?
For three days, Ms. AZAMBOU from Bureau Veritas will conduct a comprehensive assessment of the organization. Out of the 19 processes that make up SONARA’s Integrated Management System, 11 processes will undergo an in-depth evaluation based on an audit programme developed and validated in consultation with all relevant stakeholders.
The opening meeting provided an opportunity to present the main aspects of the evaluation mission, including its objectives, methodology, audit scope, classification of findings, and the detailed audit programme.
This rigorous approach is designed to provide an objective assessment of the conformity and effectiveness of the management system.
The audit also serves as a valuable opportunity to identify areas for improvement. During the assessment, nonconformities may be identified, whether related to the requirements of the ISO 9001:2015 standard or to SONARA’s internal requirements. Rather than being viewed as sanctions, these findings should be regarded as genuine drivers of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
To ensure the success of this strategic mission, three fundamental principles were emphasized to all the teams involved: availability, transparency, and confidentiality. These values are essential in enabling the auditor to establish a reliable, constructive, and meaningful assessment that will support the company’s future development.
Through this second surveillance audit, SONARA reaffirms its commitment to operational excellence, quality, and continuous improvement. The audit conclusions to be issued at the end of this mission will not only assess the progress achieved but will also help define the next stages in the evolution of SONARA’s Integrated Management System.
Beyond compliance with an international standard, these three decisive days will highlight SONARA’s ability to transform, improve, and meet the ever-increasing demands for organizational performance.
